Our Craftsmanship Commitment & Liability
At Sapphire Loc & Twist Studio, we are committed to delivering bespoke natural hair care tailored to each individual. However, hair type, density, texture, lifestyle, and home care routines cause results to vary naturally. While we strive for absolute excellence, we cannot guarantee identical outcomes for every guest.
By booking and receiving services, you acknowledge that all hairstyling and haircare procedures are provided at your explicit request. The studio and its styling team are not liable for subjective dissatisfaction, perceived damages, or outcomes outside of the parameters discussed and agreed upon during your consultation.
Each stylist at Sapphire Loc & Twist Studio operates as an independent professional offering specialized contractor expertise. By proceeding with an appointment, you waive the right to pursue civil or legal action against the studio entity, its management, or its affiliates in connection with services rendered.
Media & Promotion
To document structural transformations and maintain proof of service quality, photography and videography will be captured during your session. Images and digital media may be shared on our social media platforms for promotional purposes. If you prefer to opt-out of public media features, please explicitly notify your stylist before your service begins.
Cashless Financial Policy & Check-In
- Payment Architecture: Sapphire Loc & Twist Studio is a strictly cashless environment. A standard $3 processing fee is automatically included in your service invoice total.
- The Pre-Service Check-In: Upon arrival, your stylist will execute an interactive check-in to verify your requested services, adjust the technical log to include any add-on selections, and catalog your product purchases.
- Upfront Processing: To maintain a relaxing environment, your full invoice payment is processed prior to hands-on service manipulation. Gratuities are deeply appreciated and may be presented directly to your stylist in cash.
Studio Environment & Health Safeguards
- The "My Chair" Restrictive Booking: To protect the intimate, quiet luxury experience of our guests, only the client actively receiving services may be present in the studio.
- Arrival Safety: Please remain comfortably in your vehicle upon arrival. Your stylist will send a automated "Ready To Start" SMS notification the exact moment the shared equipment is fully sanitized and prepared for you.
- Illness Protocol: In compliance with wellness precautions, masks are optional. However, if you are exhibiting any active symptoms of illness, you must reschedule your session. Clients showing visible signs of illness while at the studio will be asked to reschedule immediately.
Punctuality, Cancellations, and No-Shows
- Tardy Policy: Clients will incur a strict $20 late charge if they arrive 16 minutes after their scheduled booking time—no exceptions. If a client reaches 30 minutes past their appointment time, the session is forfeited, and the stylist reserves the right to require a complete reschedule.
- Cancellations & Adjustments: Please submit all booking cancellations or rescheduling adjustments via our online scheduling portal at least 24 hours prior to your session block.
- No-Call / No-Show Enforcement: Failure to arrive without notice will incur a mandatory $35 fee, which must be cleared prior to booking any future studio sessions. Multiple no-call violations will result in the permanent suspension of your booking privileges.
- Forward Scheduling: Guests are highly encouraged to reserve their subsequent appointment slots before exiting the studio to maintain optimal consistency.
Specialized Hair Maintenance Requirements
- The 6-Week Retightening Rule: Sisterlocks™ and Microlocks require rigorous, routine structural maintenance. It is professionally recommended that clients do not exceed a 6-week maintenance increment.
- Extended Session Fees: In the event the 6-week threshold is exceeded, the stylist reserves the right to complete as much lock management as possible within the allocated time block and apply an additional "Extended Session" scaling fee to account for the increased technical labor.
- Locking Establishments: All structural Loc Establishment journeys require a non-refundable 50% deposit of your custom-quoted price to secure your calendar reservation. Your tailored price quote is valid for exactly 30 days. If your establishment is not reserved within this window, a new physical evaluation and updated quote are required.
Refund Architecture
- All standard Consultation Fees, Booking Retainers, and Completed Studio Services are strictly non-refundable.
- Establishment Deposits: Lock Establishment deposit refund requests must be received in writing no later than 12 hours after payment is processed. Approved cancellations within this 12-hour window will be refunded minus a $50 administrative processing fee. Cancellations made after 12 hours will automatically be issued as a Salon Credit, valid for exactly 60 days.
